AIM:

To provide the required skill to apply the statistical and Linear Programming  tools for engineering problems.


OBJECTIVES:

To make the students acquire a fundamental  knowledge  in Statistical inference and
Linear programming tools for engineering applications.

UNIT I             TESTING OF HYPOTHESIS                                                                  12
Sampling distributions - Tests for single mean , proportion and difference of    means (large and small samples) Tests for single variance and equality of variances  χ2- test for goodness of fit Independence  of  attributes Non-parametric  tests: Test for Randomness and Rank-sum test (Wilcoxon test).
